Shima Onida Kennels

This year we are hoping that 2 of our Bitches Tala & Matsi, will have puppies.Once they have had their Hip Scores done we will know which if not both to breed.Our aim in breeding these 2 girls is to improve the hight of the Northern Inuit.I personally prefer longer legged Inuits.

With this in mind both girls are booked to go to very good quality Stud dogs that can provide both the colour and height I am trying to achieve.

Both Tala & Kodi are from Olderhill Kennels based in Lincolnshire. As they are both dark on their backs I am putting them to light silver/Grey Lines in order to achieve a more Wolfy Coloured coat. Sadly for me I have had to re home Kodi as her and Tala no longer saw eye to eye. However she has a new forever family who came all the way from Bristol to collect her, they fell in love with her straight away, Her new family are Louise, Andy and their 2 boys Hayden & Jordan and i'm sure she will put in an appierance at some of the NI shows.

Matsi is due to be Hip Scored this year and if all goes to plan will be mated later this year or next spring.Matsi was bred by Mahlek Kennels based at Newark.

Matsi is black & white and is changing colour daily (this breed change colour from the day they are born till in some cases they are 3 yrs old)
